Maybe, but mice can get through some pretty small openings. If they can get their little heads through the rest of them can too. Plus they like chewing so could chew through a towel pretty fast. Get yourself a cat. They have ways to deal with those little shits.

Cats are known to hunt and kill off mice maybe get a cat for that reason? I barely have mice problems because my cats are useful. (I had a baby mice got in my house somehow and my cat was quick to try to kill it but I save it and put it outside I felt bad for the little guy).

No you need to install a door sweep or try peppermint oil from what I hear mix it with some water and spray it wherever you don't want mice or bugs and they stay away

The oil. Again I've never tried it but my sister and 2 friends swear by it

No. It can slow them down a little, but they can chew straight through the fabric. Hell, they can chew through the wall. Mice have strong teeth.

Get red cider vinegar put in a spray bottle spray under kitchen sinks bathroom sinks any where they might be coming in everyday for a week they will never come back

No because mice can shrink their bodies and fit into very small holes.
