If there is a possible mice in the apartment what rooms are the people going put traps?

I like in an apartment and next door is another apartment but we both enter the same door if that makes sense. My landlord lives with me and she told me that some people will be coming to check if there’s holes etc bc people on the other side are having mice problem. So where exactly are they going check bathroom , kitchen only? Only the whole 4 bedrooms? The 8 roommates I have , have not seen anything

Set mousetraps where the mice will most likely go, that's basically hiding places (where they'll feel safe) and at and near food sources (where they can eat). For example, inside lower kitchen cabinets, in the corners of closets.

I wouldn't set any traps in bedrooms. Mice won't stay there for long, if at all, and there's always the danger of someone accidentally stepping on a trap... that would hurt!

Mice is there to eat and make a shelter
Any place that is safe for mice and people would not easily reach there is a good home for mice
