Set up 3 different pet safe traps and it ignores them all!
Used 3 different foods mice love as bait but it ignores them.

The trick is this, if you don't already know it: don't put the mousetraps close to walls and corners, you actually have to put them somewhere sort of out in the middle of the floor. Mice are still smart enough to pick up on knowing humans put traps around edges and corners, out in the middle of the floor kinda throws them off.
The peanut butter trick does kinda work, but the best thing is mixing sugar and baking soda together and putting it in a little dish. The mice will eat it and go back into the walls and die there later because the baking soda will make them explode internally.
is the mouse still around? lol
sometimes they're only visiting... especially if they ignore the foods you freely give, and if you don't find poop or other signs of rodents biting your stuff
if the mouse is still around, then you should try to identify the points of entry/exit/crossing then find the way place more traps in those places while also block the doggos from going into that area of the house during the nights
O heck no he made his home heren
Use peanuts or peanut butter in your live-traps.
Or go buy glue traps and a bottle of vegetable oil.
Once the mouse is on a glue trap, put the trap in a box, pour oil on the mouse and put the box where you want to set the mouse free.
The oil will release the glue leaving the mouse greasy but unharmed.
Thanks but my dog would so be all over that glue trap! We have those at work!
The mouse is ignoring the peanut butter!
I’ve always just used the basic wood and metal traps, with a little bit of food as bait in them. Gets the mice every time.
Usually does but this mouse has ignored them strangely!

Try peanut butter. It worked for me. But my ultimate solution to periodic rodent infestations has been - Cats. I rescued three of them. I now find mutilated rodents mowing my lawn and in the backyard garden from time to time.

Again they are ignoring peanut butter!
@roseysarah congrats are succeeding, but again kitty 🐈 is the ultimate rodent killer. Fun fact: smaller dogs were often bred out of pre Enlightenment superstition and prejudice against cats. For example, "rat terriers".
The traps have to be on their routes of travel/usually around the edges/corners of the room leading to/away from their holes and food sources.
The humane traps I caught the most with were the oil bowl/pitfall traps.
Oil bowel?
Yeah, a salad bowl with a bit of oil in the bottom and a stick or something across it. They try to eat the oil, get their paws slick and fall in. Just make sure the oil is shallow enough they won’t drown
I live in the country and every winter I have to deal with mice seeking shelter. What I have learned is that mice are pretty fucking smart. Once they come across a mouse in a trap they learn to avoid those traps. People always think they caught all the mice because after the first couple they don't catch any more. Wrong. You need a variety of traps and then you need to place poison to kill the rest. Poison works 100% of the time.
Or just get some cats.
i try live catches and release them to a decent place. what if it's your relative reincarnated and they are back to share life with you?
Then they would not be ruining my home but peacefully hang out in the back yard!
Cleanup the house, remove food sources and hiding places, plug access points if possible. they all want to escape the cold and dangerous outdoors.
Have you tried one of these?
Nope thanks for an actual helpful comments!
No problem! Hope it helps! I got those little bastards, too but, if I'm gonna be losing my house in 4 weeks, there's no point in MY doing anything about it!! Let the new people taking over deal with it!! My biggest concern will be trying to find a cardboard box big enough for me to live in!
Get a terrier. Mouse problem solved
My dog plays with the mouse
Change its environment, so he has no choice other than to accept his fate.
Okay I'll magic him to a desert?
I've had good success with battery operated mouse traps. When the mouse goes inside after the bait it is electrocuted and killed instantly.
Nutella works good as a bait for traps.
More traps
To better places maybe?
i have 3 cats in the house.
We used to have a cat but she sadly passed!
Miss her 😔
Shotgun.
Get a cat or use better bait
