Does anyone here have pet mice? What do I do here?

It started out in 2021 with 2, and I’ve been getting more as time goes and the older one/s get older or die. I currently have 2. One of them I got January last year, and the other one I got about two months ago but she was already mature. I don’t think I want to continue with mice after these two die from old age. All the same, they are social creatures and it’s like torture to only have one. That’s why I keep getting another after the second mouse dies.
I don’t trust people in my area to like mice as pets, so I don’t think rehoming the last one left is likely to happen.
Should I just continue keeping mice? I really wouldn’t mind too much if I had to, but I have other animals too and I’ve done my time with mice.

Thank you, they are well taken care of but I am just looking to when one of them is inevitably the last one left. I wish there were more small animal enthusiasts than snake owners in my area.
