No I had a dog and a couple of cats. I really miss them but it was too sad when they died. One of my cats was killed by a coyote. My wife and I wrapped him in a blanket and buried him in the backyard. It was raining a little as we stood t his little grave and we were both crying.

My cuz and his son, are sharpshooters. They live on a big chunk of land. My cuz has two dogs, and they are both capable of fending off a single coyote. But it's never just a single coyote, it's a gang banger pack. So my cuz would let Bobo out, and let him wonder in the field. Sure enough, a friendly coyote would approach Bobo, and want to be his friend. Bobo was flattered. But Bobo was getting on in years, and didn't notice the 20 other coyotes waiting in the wings. So Randy and Jake waited until the gang got near Bobo, and then then they started sniping them with.223 rounds.
Killing creatures isn't nice, but blood is thicker than water, and you have to draw a line.

@Oatmeal2 Yes, I always thought that coyotes only came around at night so we left the cats outside. They usually just sat around on the deck and i guess a coyote came right up on the deck and carried him off into the woods. The surviving cat was never the same after that.

Yes, Foxy Loxy lives behind my house. I usually see him while I am eating breakfast. My backyard has been like Wild Kingdom lately.

I had a Yorkie Named Hanzel, but he was stolen :( Last year, my aunts narcissistic cousin came into my home and stole him, along with everything I owned.

Now sometimes at night, I dream about taking him for his walks or to the park where he barks at other dogs. I wish I still had him. He was all that I had :( Hopefully he's OK. I miss him a lot.

My "pets" are technically my nieces pets as they are all in my name legal papers wise. So I guess that would be 3 bunnies, 2 dogs, a tarantula (That spends its time webbing up a old hanging light fixture) And she has a blue macaw she inherited from a old lady next door that intially was gonna get put down till it shockingly found my youngest niece fascinating.

German Sheppards are cool dogs but always Wanna be walked so good luck lol cause they stay running around but no I did grow up with a cat and dog.

If I were to get a dog I want a big mastiff breed or husky and a French Bulldog.
