isn't it amazing how intelligent /intelligent sounding people can be so wrong.. no matter the religion or training? People try to coerce things to fit into their emotional frame of beliefs, for if they didn't, it would invalidate what they already believe... and they don't want to change. Change is hard and painful. It takes a flexible mind to challenge ones own thoughts. Maybe it is a personality and upbringing aspect rather than particular belief system.

everything that's written in quran , most of it was found way before islam even existed , secondly many writings of islam are scientifically incorrect...
science does not need any sort of basics from quran, it already has the explanation of great phenomenons that maybe even quran doesn't know about , maybe quran needs to be updated based on science
