I do, in case I say something wrong, or run out of things to say so that I have something to fall back on.
I do it before interviews too, it gives me confidence and helps me stay prepared :)

I have a bit of residual social anxiety, but I'm used to talking to people a *lot* on the phone so I'm not too bothered by it. Everything I deal with it really f-ing complicated, too, so :) I'm pretty battle hardened when it comes to customer service. I just think about whether the details are straight in my head before I call so I can do a good job and the essence of what I'd say. I try not to rehearse too much though.
Mogtar just do it. Mogtar always found that preparing in advance makes you try to hard when the time comes. Mogtar's style is getting comfortable with improvisation. If Mogtar was lead actor in a play, he doesn't even need the lines. He doesn't want them. They'll make him stiff.
Yeah, I rehearse in my head, so I know what to say and all. I'm always worried to say the wrong thing or if I get confused and awkward. Also talking with someone I don't know over the phone makes me very nervous and... "anxious"
I have serious anxiety issues that might stem from something deeper that I can't fix. Phone calls is something I generally avoid, and if I do have to make one I'd rehearse and as soon as the call starts I just forget everything anyway...
Depends on who I call. Sometimes I go completely unplanned and speak whatever comes to mind. If it's something important I might think it through but I don't think I have ever rehearsed.
Nope. If the call doesn’t go as planned, it’ll catch me off guard. Without a rehearsal, I can adjust and flow with it.
Depends who I'm talking to.
If it's a casual chat with friends then nothing is required but if it's a formal call then I at least think of the points beforehand which I would be stating in that call.No. Not entirely. Randomly I think about what I would say if I explained what I'm doing in my head. I get confused actually trying to do it. It's annoying, it's all perfect in my mind but irl I just go... "F*CK" (not out loud)
interesting, i didn't know it was for that. i don't use the phone at all
Sometimes yes if the call is significant. But most of the time, I dive right in
Ya only for confidential calls. I don't want to spew out nonsense and give them wrong info
It's good practice to rehearse and or write down notes in cases where you have points to get across.
That’s a real syndrome. Being anxious of making a mistake on the phone. But you’re doing the right thing. Talk to as many people as possible.
I hate zoom calls and get the same anxiety.Depends on who I'm going to call, but generally I don't.
I used to a lot of the time, but these days I just roll with it
I used to but only do that when calling in sick now as I never answer my phone or make phone calls.
No I never really think about it I just say what comes naturally
Yeah I definitely do this and sometimes before interviews and things like that
