What is your usual goal when you're speaking on the phone?

My goal when I speak to people on the phone is to have a peaceful, calm, friendly conversation so that when we get off the phone, the other person is smiling and they are happy they spoke to me.

I wouldn't call it a goal as such but overall it is my nature to be positive, peaceful and to laugh but a lot of time I deal with very frustrated people especially in the way of family members who find a way to turn the conversation into arguments because my positive attitude irritates them so it's not always possible.
