How should I handle my feeding tube scar? (Page 2)

So my health declined within the last year. I got so sick that I had to get heart surgery and a feeding tube. This was extremely difficult. My boyfriend is wanting to see my stomach with all the scars but I’m embarrassed. I haven’t shown him yet. I could get bandaids and cover them. This is what they look like. Is this unattractive? (This photo is not me, but it’s a public photo)

Scars are a part of life, you get mental and physical scars, embrace them as a reminder of that difficult time that you managed to get through and are more the stronger for! No need to be embarrassed about them!

Mine looks much worse than that. I have three of the holes like the one shown in that photo and my OHS scar is mean and red looking. They will fade over time and you can get plastic surgery to minimize them too. Be happy that you are doing better !!!

He won't mind them. HE's into YOU, not an idealized version of you. He wants to see all your imperfections.

I like it. look like a smiley face winking at me 😉 don't let it get to you. many women have these scars, it's a sign of strength and motherhood. I have scars from surgery.

The only thing that really catches my eye is that puncture wound a few inches below the nipple. I wouldn’t say so much judgement is the issue. But I’d just feel concerned if I saw a wound like that on somebody.
