Guy I’m speaking to has a big tattoo, is that a red flag?

I really like him and he seems mature. However he has a big tattoo of an eagle on the side of his chest, also another big one at the front of his chest. To be completely honest, I think they look horrible, he has a nice body and skin tone and I don’t know why he chose to get them. I asked him and he said ‘ I don’t mind getting art on me’ I’m just wondering if that could be a sign of a deeper issue? I hope not because I really like him, and so far his mind seems normal

Definitely give him a chance... every girlfriend I've been with since I got my tattoos has admitted that they thought my Playboy tattoos were a 'red flag'. It's frustrating for me, as my tattoos are a permanent part of me and I can't do anything about them, yet I'm judged constantly for them.
He can't do anything about them either, and honestly, if he could re-wind time he may not get them again. I know I would love to re-do my 20's without these Playboy bunny tattoos b/c they sabotaged so many potential relationships.

It's a sign that you two don't share the same taste in art or love of tattoos.
It's really just up to you whether his ink habits will be a turnoff or dealbreaker in the long run.
I like watching the Ink Master reality competition show, I enjoy the artwork, but even I think it's weird that people put those big drawings on themselves for life.
I'm not really into tattoos on women either, but to each their own.

My bestfriend has damn near the same tattoo that you're describing and he's a great boyfriend to his girlfriend.

Tattoos doesn't mean they're a bad person by default.
