You should definitely find out why you didn't have a period (could be for a multitude of reasons besides pregnancy, low BMI etc..) then you'll be aware of why it might be happening in the future or what you can do to remedy the situation so it doesn't occur again.

If you determine that you can't live with the stress of another pregnancy scare make sure you get on birth control, if you're having intercourse and you ask me (protected or not) female contraceptive is a must because shit happens, condoms break and some boys will leave you holding the bag.

Finally and most importantly, that must have been stressful, allow yourself to de-stress and process what you've been feeling. I prescribe several long bubble baths 😤

There's really only one general method to get pregnant. So my suggestion is, get yourself on the pill, if possible, and don't allow your S/O inside you, vaginally, without a condom.

You thought you maybe pregnant, so you must have had unprotected sex within the past few months. You call it a scare which would indicate you're not ready to be a parent.
Lesson 1) get on birth control and insist any partners use condoms
Lesson 2) if you have a medical issue, go to you doctor as soon as possible, why would it take you 3 months to seek medical assistance? You could have known after your first missed period.
