+1 yI have a few both real world and online.
starting with yours.
People who play music out loud while in public. - yeah this often does my head in, what about courtesy and thinking of others, grrr.
People using plastic/ paper plates, cups and cutlery in their own home. I do when have moved home or if setting of really early next day and if fish n chips came with them. Rest of time plain weird.
Slow walkers - the bane of my existence when out shopping etc, under lockdown it’s been even worse as there is a 2meter rule.. which means you have to walk along at their pace, secretly thinking of using a chain saw on them, or any other stupid shit that pops in to your head lol.
People who say "car-mel" for caramel - simply never heard that and would literally laugh at it.
Simple spelling mistakes or uses of the wrong words - I fall victim to this at times, reliance on spell checker, typing out online shit when you are half a bottle of rum down. Professionally though, as in work and real world online, I check everything twice and sometimes send it to someone to proof check.
mine.
People being rude to those in hospitality waitress, waiter, barmaid, man etc. It really annoys me when someone takes their shit out on them and I have said stuff and stepped in before. It’s simply bullying at times, usually a young waitress and a guy showing off…
people unable to correctly format documents in Word, having mixed fonts, sizes, etc, you look at it and think why.
People driving at the same speed limit irrespective of the actual speed limit. 40mph in a 50 zone, then staying at 40mph in the 30zone etc
. top of list are bigots - okay it’s a bit more than a pet peeve, but it’s those that hide it, growing up with a bisexual sister, having friends from bi to trans, I see it a lot and my sister, friends etc are used to it. I however get a bit pissed off with the casual spiteful, snide remarks. The situations where a person says something to say my sister and it’s blatantly a ‘if you were normal comment’, but hidden away. When she was a teen, things like babysitting jobs suddenly stopped, with really shit excuses. Okay stopping there lol…
there are more 😂.30 Reply

+1 yAlways finding something negative to say, especially when a person says they won't and blatantly lies whilst clearly doing so.
Bigots who generalize groups of people, except for those respond to bigotry with bigotry of their own, like holding their own.
Blaming people for something they have no control over, like am I supposed to apologize for not liking a food.
Dangerous driver, because they put other people at risk for their stupidity.
People who are too stupid and petty to understand that we all have preferences, like I'm not wrong, inferior or should feel bad about the fact that I have different personal tastes to you for anything.
Rudeness in general and it's not just a matter of word choice, it's the way a person speaks too, really annoying and some justify it by saying they're blunt or brutally honest, when it's often an excuse for them to be more brutal than honest.

As for your pet peeves:
People who play music out loud while in public:
Agree, but construction workers are an exception.
People using plastic/ paper plates, cups and cutlery in their own home:
Saves the washing up, lol, smart if anything, so it doesn't bother me, although I don't really do it myself.
Slow walkers:
As a fast walker, yes, but only if they're blocking anyone else from overtaking them.
People who say "car-mel" for caramel:
I'm British, so I almost never hear anyone use it like that, I think it's more of an American thing, but I don't think it'd bother me.
Simple spelling mistakes or uses of the wrong words:
Unless it's really confusing of changes the whole meaning of the sentence, to the point where it's confusing, then hardly, but even if it does, it doesn't bother me a whole lot, unless it's important and I get stressed over it.01 Reply- +1 y
Another one, is when people threaten to break your possessions or at reckless with someone else's possessions. This kind of sums it up a bit: Do you consider it a deal breaker if a partner destroys your possessions when they're angry? ↗

+1 yMy biggest pet peeve is when I'm driving, someone pulls out in front of me causing me to brake, and then cannot keep up wit the traffic but will do ANYTHING to stop me passing them. Oh then they slow down on purpose to let someone else out!
Gawd I LOATHE that!21 Reply - 376 opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yI can't stand people who are chronically late.
I hate when people say "axe" when they mean "ask"
"Conversate" is NOT a word!
I hate that our language is devolving back to pictograms (emojis).
People who think that if they tailgate to within a few inches that will make me want to drive 30 mph over the speed limit when it in fact make me want to slow down to half the speed limit because of the increased danger of a collision.
But mostly I am annoyed by people who use "Lemme" instead of "Let me."05 Reply- +1 y
Slang words are not real words nor are they proper English. The correct verb is "converse." "conversate" is not in any of my dictionaries and they include 100% of all legitimate words in the English language.

Yet it's in a bunch of other dictionaries and pending approval in others.

Ok fine, cite the ISBN of a published dictionary that states that is an accepted part of the English lexicon. Online dictionaries are invalid because they are made up by internet users who invent their own words and definitions.

These are some of the most reliable online dictionaries. They cannot be added to easily if at all. Just because it's not a physical book doesn't make it unreliable. Anyway, every single word was made up, literally out of thin air. Like I said it is a word, it's just an informal one like many words we use in current times.

4. When you are approaching a door & the person in front of you opens the door first & doesn’t look back or hold the door for you.
2. When it’s a penny for your thoughts & you put your two cents in it grinds my gears that you don’t get a one cent refund.
6. It grinds my gears when you buy a television set & they only give you one. Isn’t a set two?
7. It grinds my gears when you order a pizza & the fucking thing is round & they put it in a square box.
8. It grinds my gears when you go to the doctors & the receptionist tells you the the doctor will be with you shortly & the doctor sees you an hour later.

-When you've told someone you have to go and they still won't stop talking you you
-When I have my headphones in and someone repeatedly keeps interrupting what I'm doing
-Being interrupted
-I know this is a weird one but I hate when people call animals or babies "little one". I don't know why, it just sounds off to me
-Incorrect use of words in a sentence. "Irregardless" makes me have to bite my tongue to avoid being the annoying guy who corrects grammar00 Reply- 4K opinions shared on Other topic.
