I live in the sticks off-grid. I farm, hunt and live a very simple life-wood heat and well water. I fix all my own stuff, I keep my junk auto fleet running, I fix my tractors, I am HVAC certified only to work on my own stuff. I do my own construction, built a real glass and mortar greenhouse, and underground “root cellar” with living quarters. I do my own electrical-passes inspection, installed my own solar, whatever impulse I get I do. I am SHTF ready although I am a white collar smuck as a day job.
