In italy people pretend like it never happened, as soon as summer came the virus went away with it so to speak.
I'm still scared, I still have to get vaccinated, and that scares me as well but on the other hand everything is back to normal.
We still wear masks in public places like shops and stuff... but since the 1st of July we're allowed to walk around in public without the mask.

Experts think the delta variant is gonna cause the third wave, it's gonna hit soon.

I got my first dose of vaccine but I've had flu like symptoms after it. Seems like I still caught it. I'm worried about lung damage. Also I'm not sure if I need a second dose anymore or not. Probably gonna go see a doctor.

Most places have decided to open back up and the government supports that. And yet, the D variant of Covid is really causing a lot of deaths and looks like it will be very hard to beat that variant. We really need more resistance through vaccinations before letting it get worse again.

We are currently experiencing rates of people getting sick again, a few deaths here and there still sadly but the new strain has gotten a few people sick as well. i think masks being taken off is not the best idea for us right now but to each their own i guess.

Small country, size of a medium city total 500k population. Well a few weeks ago we were getting around 20 new cases a day with about 20 - 50 recoveries. Today it was about 150 new cases and 2 recoveries. So same as last year... Someone fucked up.
