Are you happy with the current politics in your country?

Question

The world seems to be burning. Somehow, there is war like everywhere! As if the different governments love war and the money they make by killing innocent humans.
I also hate side pickers. Innocent people are dying for dump reasons everywhere.

My fiancée and I have been unhappy with politics in Germany for a while, and we are debating to maybe leave the country.
I just saw a video of a bunch of Muslim men praising their God on the open street's of a bigger German city.
Personally, I don't see anything like that happening in my city. Here, we just recently got told shit like to be careful not to use plastic bags for our bio trash bin, or they will fine us. Or, like they're planning to tax us even more for our underpaid jobs, have us work more for less, tax us even more for assets, and so on, stupid shit like that.
I don't see hate crimes in this city yet.

Germany, like many western countries (including mine, the US) adopted the globalist agenda of no borders and unlimited immigration. Even if they changed the rules tomorrow, you have millions of immigrants who have no intention of assimilating into German culture and values, and who have limited skills. Further, "green energy" policies and globalization have caused most manufacturing to be outsourced, so the very kinds of jobs those immigrants might have had a chance to get and do okay no longer exist. And you are utterly reliant on Russian energy. Essentially, your leaders set your country up to fail.

You are not alone, but that only makes it worse. There is a reason why Poland and Hungary refuse to take Muslim immigrants (though they will take Judeo Christian refugees, such as Ukrainians). They have seen what happens when you bring in large groups of people who don't share your values, and they wisely want no part of that.

The many globalists here in the US have been doing essentially the same thing here, and only Trump has been able to stop it - but they are waiting to put their agenda back into place. Like all Marxists, they despise the middle class, and just want there to be elites (which they already are) and powerless peasants who can be treated as slaves. The middle class has power and numbers and they hate that and work every day to destroy and undermine the middle class.

Whether you stay or go, you need to fight against that globalist, Marxist agenda because they plan to spread it everywhere, and you won't be able to run forever.

Not happy with it.
Haven’t been content with it since I was a kid.

It doesn’t matter what my side thinks, it is what’s going on that matters.

We have entities influencing our elections, our politician preferences on key issues, where the taxpayer dollars go. It is a mess.
You would think this makes people in America see eye to eye and come together, nope. They keep to their side and refuse to see the bigger picture, on both sides.

Conservatives need to stand up for Liberals, Liberals need to stand up for Conservatives because once the other looks the other way we all collapse. We are people and need to be seen, treated, and uplifted in solidarity as such. We are only human, though we outnumber the elites so you would think we would have the power The Founders gave us to elect leaders who have our best interests at heart, though we don’t.

It is a sad state of affairs, don’t give me the “they started it”. How about you end it by standing up for all not just the few. Be the positive outspoken meaningful conversation you want to bring to the table, don’t just Boo Biden or Boo Trump actually contribute to key issues you believe highly of.

Am I happy with the state of the world? Nope. Am I happy with what the leaders of my country are doing to fix it? Yes.

The global geopolitical landscape has been a mess for many years, and the recent leadership of western powers has been pathetically weak, which has resulted in the mess we have all been forced to live under.

There was no question it would get worse before it got better, but there is light at the end of the tunnel as western leaders with actual STRENGTH are doing what it takes to reset things and abolish the bullshit.

Better times are ahead.

Felt more balanced and respectful when I was younger, ya know? Obviously I didn't know as much about what was going on, but it at least felt like there was some degree of good intention backing both sides (even though politicians on any side are kind of fundamentally slimy). Nobody have stupid twitter battles making the news all the time or intentionally sending personal freedoms back to the dark ages.

that's why i love living in the US. Each state is a bit like their own little country and their politics determine a lot of what goes on. In my conservative state, store looting, gang violence, political violence and such are not tolerated by the elected leaders. But if you go to other places, people committing those crimes are literally let back out onto the street rather than serve time locked up in prisons where they can't harm the public.

Personally, it's nice to see someone from another country admit their issues, rather than gaslighting that everything is perfect and the US is the only place with problems. :D

I'll just say that things seem to be happening as prophesied in The Bible, whether people are willing to admit it or not. Kinda wild how a book that some people call fake, is turning out to be so accurate with predictions.

Yep, there's violence on all sides of these issues and it's never the answer. But f*ck a government that tries to take away people's right and ability to protect themselves and their loved ones from it. The end.

Yes I feel like Switzerland is one of the only democracies that's functioning as it should and representing the people. Even with all the chaos, I feel optimistic about our future as a country. There's safety and stability, good infrastructure, the economy is resilient and doing well, the environment is protected (as well as it can be pretty much), you have a good social safety net and healthcare system (although it can still be improved). Things work as they should and that's just nice. You can wake up in the morning and not worry about politics or your country going down the drain, you can just live your life and focus on your own challenges which is nice.

I appreciate all the good things.

But globally I don't feel very optimistic atm. I hope it's just gonna be a period of unrest and change and then things stabilize again. But it could also get worse and then keep getting worse, who knows?

I think that this has turned into a media circus in America. Truthfully the Republicans and Democrats have been at each others throats since America began and we have been in a system of Sine wave politics. I don't know if the amplitude of the swings has been this exaggerated. but it is hard to judge, due to the media. As I remember George Washington had to accept a outside funding to successfully win the American Revolution. You can not let either side have their way for too long or industry becomes self serving and the employment opportunities vanish or the Citizenry becomes cannon fodder like a disposable resource. I started witnessing American Politics at the age of 18yr, not much has changed, Take a wider perspective and not much has changed in thousands of years. High tech maybe but still not much has changed.

I think we are often too precise, too academic and hence too slow in our political changes. We should be able to speed up our political processes without turning into Italian-style chaos. I understand that that's at least partially on our new government's agenda.
