Is it animal abuse if I flip my cat off?

He just sniffs and licks my middle finger when i do that. sometimes bites it while purring.

No, it's not animal abuse. Cats are adorable, but they can be jerks, so it's understandable if you choose to flip him off, just don't do it too much. Sometimes respond to curse words or the middle finger as a command, like a dog may sit or roll over if you scream "FUCK" or "SHIT", when I had my dog, I would sometimes say "fuck you" when he'd try to bite me, but he wouldn't do anything, but it's still disrespectful. So that's why you shouldn't do it too much. But, if he doesn't do anything, I guess you're fine, and if you do it rarely, or as a joke, then it's not animal abuse. I'd be worried if you'd do it on purpose to try to hurt his feelings or something, so you're good.

Lol today I came down this morning and went to stroke one of my cats (not a crazy cat lady, I only have two😂) and she tried to attack me but ended up rolling off her cat perch and I was like: “well that’s what you get for trying to attack people first thing in the morning”😂😂

I said only if it makes the cat mad or upset... that would be a really socially conditioned cat lol. I mean if you were super aggressive and showed anger, cats can sense that so it may not like you or it could gain fear of you. But if you do it for fun and casually I don’t think there’s an issue lmao
