Which holiday are you most excited for?

I know there are other holidays coming up too, but I just wanna focus on these three for right now.

I don't know why, but I'm so ready for the Christmas season to begin this year. I've been listening to Christmas songs for the past 2 weeks!!! I'm usually all about Thanksgiving, but I haven't been as excited about it these last few years. I think it's because my cousin got killed a week before Thanksgiving back in 2018. It hasn't been the same since. But I'm so ready for Christmas 🎄🎅🏾

There has been quite a bit of tragedy in my family as well lately, and so I haven't even given the holidays much thought and have just been staying afloat (right now I'm doing okay, but I'm in the "numb" stage, I guess you could say). As a matter of fact, this time of year is typically when my anxiety goes through the roof and I have a hard time just enjoying the time with family. I don't know why it's this way, but has been for years. I guess it's a sort of seasonal anxiety. Everything calms down immediately after the new year, but October through December is hard for me.

I used to really like Halloween, but especially the last few years, I only see it as a holiday for kids, and since I don't have any, then any effort I put into it is entirely for neighbors who do. So, don't really care.

Thanksgiving is basically a time where the family and extended family get together for a home-cooked lunch and dinner. That's about it.

Christmas carries a lot more meaning for me, so I guess it wins by default even though it never really "excites" me.

Christmas... Christmas means winter and it's very close with New Years, the food is way better and better than that, it's when most of my friends travel and come back... so I get to see them again and in person

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Denmark (for obvious reasons). Halloween has been imported from the US but still feels weird and foreign. Christmas, however, is a deeply rooted tradition that I've celebrated all my life, easy choice.

Christmas as not only do I love the snow and will be able to buy a gun (I live in illinois where the age to own a gun is 21 :/) but my birthday is on the 25th. I also love helping my parents put up a tree in the living room.

Christmas big time. This year will be the biggest celebration in the history of mankind, as people gather and send a big "fuck you" to Fauci and his fear mongering horde who have no problem with large gatherings of their own, but are trying to separate us normal human families as much as they can with their bs. Well Halloween is a great excuse to party with friends. Christmas is more of a family thing. Halloween you do not have to buy gifts. Christmas makes it seem like You have to buy gifts.

I'm an agnostic Jew. I don't celebrate Christmas and I have stopped celebrating Halloween. It's a shame that we celebrate Thanksgiving knowing what it actually represents (it's not about family, it's about what happened to the natives)
