Why does my cat suck my dog's nipples?

The kitten is roughly 5-6 months old now and suckles on my dog's nipples, the ones furthest down in particular. She also kneads while doing this. It hurts my dog but she lets it happen and just lays back or licks her. The dog is about 10 months old.

I think that's are so freaking special I think they're so smart and they have more understanding then we would imagine. That just goes to show you thank God the God made Man's Best Friend dog because if he wouldn't have. Then man would never I have learn unconditional love. That how stupid man is took a pet animal to teach us about unconditional love. If you think about it all men would be cavemen still LOL and women would look as beautiful as they do today

But it's probably instinct because it's hungry 🤔 can cats teeth? Because it might be doing that as well

One of my kittens used to suck a male cat. I have no idea what she was sucking on but the cat let it happen.
The thing is they don't know the difference. Nipples are the same as baby bottles to them. They won't see any difference

Kittens and puppies would try to suck yours too. Any nipple will do.
