Why does my cat make a higher meow noise before lunging and biting my arm?

Anonymous
I made my outdoor cat indoors on December 29th. He’s been doing so well inside and everything seemed to be going perfect. But this past week he’s been making a different meow sound and trying to go for my arm to bite me. Even if I try to pet him sometimes to. He just went to the vet 3 days ago and he has ear mites and a possible UTI. I thought maybe it could be from pain, but this past day he’s tried to bite and go for my arm more. I didn’t get my question answered when I went to the vet and they are closed today, so I can’t call until Monday now. Anyone have any idea if it could be from pain or if he wants outside?

He’s never meowed to go outside before so I didn’t think he would start now since it’s been almost a month of him inside. I’m just confused and would love advice.
