Why does my dog lick my acne?

She's constantly licking my face on the affected area. She is persistent. Another question regarding this is why does it feel soothing?

Maybe it's about salt or something like that. Us with acne produce more oil and salts which may be the reason your dog does that. Animals like our excess salt on our bodies. Not 110% sure tho. You should see a dermatologist, I don't think it's beneficial for either of you.

Maybe she thinks its a wound.

I was thinking of that possibility too. Sometimes she tries to nibble on the affected area, the way dogs do when they're trying to remove a flea. That tells me she knows it's not supposed to be there. Hurts when she does that so I kind of just brush her off when she tries.
