GTA game... Where would you set it, like the map.. what would it be based on?

If I was the leader at rockstar I would set it in Memphis 1991 gang life.. main character is black. It would be sort of like GTA San Andreas but set in Memphis instead of Cali... And you?

It's set in the city of Camden, New Jersey, the murder capital of the Northeast US, in either present-day time or the early 2010s (which was the then-present, at the time).

In a change of pace and departure from the usual GTA protagonists, you play as an attractive white female named Ali; full name "Aliana Williams." She seems like a harmless, 5'9" blonde 20-something year old woman, like a local graduate student or something. But she's actually a freshly-discharged US Marine, and her father was one of the deadliest men in US Military history. Ali can use both her looks and charm to stealthily get information in a non-lethal way, or put her military training to good use and show off all the firearms skills her legendary father taught her growing up. Ali is also customizable, and you can change her clothes, hairstyle, hair color, and even add tattoos to her, too.

As Ali, your job is to solve a mystery involving your dead brother, and what kind of shady people he was dealing with, after returning back to your home town of Camden. Once back, Ali learns her brother was dealing with some gambling debts with Olivia, the daughter of the richest man in town and Ali's high school nemesis. It's heavily implied Olivia is now part of the underground crime industry, and has the local police on payroll. You'll need to start asking some questions and building friends, allies, and alliances, to get to the truth of what happened to your big brother and what's really going on in the small Northeast town of Camden.

The game itself is more comedic and lighthearted than other GTA's, but still has some action and crime elements in it, making it more like Saints Row in tone and humor.

So yeah, that's my Grand Theft Auto game.

A fictional city based on a combination of Seattle and Vancouver, and the main characters would be a Chinese-American and a Russian immigrant. The former would be some kind of cyber-terrorist or hacker with a passion for street racing, while the other would be a military veteran or former security contractor with a more "brute force" style of story and gameplay and maybe an underground or MMA fighter on the side (you could flip the two but it's more believable that the Russian would actually be a combat veteran). The triads that played a fairly minor role in GTA5 would be more prominent, as would the Russian Mafya, Mexican Cartels, and Yakuza. The two main characters should have a player-driven narrative that could see them as either friends or enemies, or going their separate ways.

GTA has already used cities based on LA, NYC, and Chicago in past games. Washington DC would be a good candidate especially given its astronomical crime rates, but I wouldn't want to use it for multiple reasons. New Orleans would be a contender, but Mafia 3 already did it and well enough to avoid it.

If the series went to another country, then a city inspired by Macau and Hong Kong would be the obvious choice. London was just done by Watch_Dogs, so I wouldn't pick it. There aren't any good choices in most of Europe, though some of the former Eastern Bloc could be combined for a decent setting in the 90s.

I don't know where, but I think they should do voiceovers by multiple people and let you create your character's looks (race, Gender (man or woman), build (why can't we have a fat or strong character?), hair, etc.), and I'd definitely want to be able to increase your abilities similar to San Andreas. I'd also like to be able to add custom music like the original Xbox allowed. Not the music that is played over all sounds in the game, but actually have it play through the car's stereo and the volume decreases when getting calls, etc.

Actually I think I may like it set in Nevada, have some casinos to rob and also allow you to purchase and manage property like in past GTA games. I'd like the old taxi missions, wanted police missions, and ambulance missions to return too.

Dubai I think would be fun as hell - And other parts of the UAE on the outskirts of the city - Imagine how sheikhs would look while getting them out of their lambos 😂😂😂😂 - Or jumping off burj Khalifa - And just create the gangs and crime atmosphere who cares - I think it'd be a great setting honestly..

1920's Chicago. Or maybe 1990's Rio de Jainero, or 1970's Washington, DC. Or 970's Constantinople; "Grand Theft Manual" might be fun. The previous sentence initially began with a typo, and was "Orc 970's Constantinople", which makes me think an industrialized Numenor would make for an interesting GTA setting, but that's probably more "out there" than you were thinking.

Although, I really wish they'd make a new LA Noire first instead.

They should put all the maps together on one San Andreas as a whole, vice
city, liberty city and all the mappings. Make it again about multiple characters again from each area that slowly all end up working together. It will be good too for Multiplayer online too with bigger server player counts & much more to do.
