Have you ever been stalked by a stalker?

I was stalked for eight months without knowing it. It was the man at H&R Block that did my taxes. He had all my personal information. I was sitting on the porch with my neighbor having coffee and this man walks up the walk way to the porch. Then he just blurts out how he's been driving by my house for eight months and finally got up the nerve to ask me out. He was seeing other women as well. When I went to have my taxes prepared, I asked where he was. That's when I found out he committed suicide.

I was, about 1 1/2 years ago. A guy started chatting with me online, and I probably revealed a bit more personal information than I should have, and he showed up at my job (couldn't get in due to the Security clearance fortunately), and then at my condo building, but didn't get through Security there either. E-mails and phone calls at all hours, and seeing him following me, I filed a Police report. A month after I filed the Police report, he was arrested for assaulting and raping another girl that lived near me, and the Investigation found him to be responsible for at least 3 other attacks on young women. I had to testify at the trial, and he's now in Prison where he'll probably die.

Well, there was a guy who was obsessed with me, found out the school i go to, made my life a living hell, amd even sent creepy messages to me and when i did not respond and blocked him, started sending creepy messages to my friends and asked about me. Does it count? I kid you not, this actually did happen a few months ago.

I told my parents. I deactivated all my social media so nope, he's not stalking me anymore. Thank goodness

The real question is can a person stalk someone without being a stalker? - or does a person become a stalker the moment they starts stalking? - or is the stalker only labeled as a stalker for the traits he has as a person such as being socially inadequate or lonely or unattractive and not the stalking itself? - Whatever I was rambling about back to answering your question - Yes ironically it was a dude that wasn't gay he just didn't have many friends (Might even be "any" friends) and I happened to have met him on my first day in college - He still sends me stickers whenever some holiday or religious thing is coming up - but that's much much better than before - before he "somehow" ended up in the same places I was going to with my group of friends - And every time he greeted me (the audacity right?) and when I asked him who's he with it was always "just me"..
