Have you ever had someone stalk you?

I've had a guy in my school stalk me, he had a crush on me and would follow me everywhere and stare. At first I was polite and just ignored him but it got to the point where I'd leave the room as soon as he got there, he was always trying to get close to me, he'd listen in on my conversations with other people and never seemed to understand that I just didn't like him at all.

What are your experiences of being stalked?

Yes, a few. One ex just kept showing up places where i might be and our mutual friends were always saying things like, “She was just here looking for you.”. She’d call and hang up throughout the day and night. That’s super common. They’ve all done that. Another girl would come to my work and ask for me, telling everyone she was my girlfriend. She almost got me fired. I had to explain to them that she wasn’t my girlfriend and i had no control over her. If they fired me for her behavior i would sue and i would win. Another girl would call in the middle of the night and tell me i’d left this light on, or that door unlocked. She’d ask me if i knew where my cat was. Legit psycho shit. She’s the only one i called the cops about. They didn’t do anything for me anyway. That’s legit scary when you think someone wants to hurt you or someone you love and the cops won’t lift a finger.
They tend to take it more seriously when it’s a guy stalking a girl though. If you’ve made your thoughts and feelings perfectly clear to him and he won’t leave you alone, tell your parents and teachers. If they don’t do anything, go directly to the police. Some people won’t stop unless a proper authority steps in. Those kinds of people can be dangerous. I’d rather overreact than under react.

Sometimes you have to be direct and tell someone to stop. Maybe he didn’t think you noticed him doing this type of behavior.

It’s definitely possible. I have had some odd experiences myself. Kind of a group of girls. Who never would talk to be directly. But would like follow me around and always seem to be talking about me.

Would have weird accounts with like weird names and no faces on my social media. I could sort of trace it back to a few of them.

Other people said they talked about me a lot too. It was kind of odd.

They were not bad looking girls. But it was weird the way they did stuff.

When I was in 12th standard, I had this huge huge crush on a girl. I would follow her, but only in the coaching class building. Not outside. She knew it too, but did not care that much.

As opposed to your guy, I mustered up the courage to separate her from her group of friends and asked her directly. Even though I got rejected, I was happy that she was straight with me and I never looked at her.

I mean occasional eye contacts are natural right? Only those after that.

Yes. Someone at work would continually hit on me even though she was married and has kids. She'd show up at other work sites where she didn't even work just to see/interact with me. I'm not messing with anyone like that. No interest in those kinds of people.

Bunches of chicks would do similar to what you said. But it's easier to ignore them as a guy. Also I might do weird crap on purpose that'll disgust them so they leave.
