I like him. I think the kids a hero. I think he set out to do a good thing, but unfortunately things went south on him. Those people he shot were the ones looking for trouble. He could have unloaded on them at anytime and killed way people if he wanted to. It’s clearly a case of self defense. The prosecutor wants to make an example of him because the left doesn’t like people stopping left wing terrorists. They want to ensure no one resists in the future. That’s what the trial is about.
So I like the kid. I also think he’d make an amazing warrior as he did what he had to with poise and grace despite overwhelming circumstances. God be with him.

he kept his composure on the stand, the prosecutor was an outright clown. though its rather odd how the people destroying property, out to hurt, maim, do whatever, riot etc are hailed as innocent victims? granted if one of them took the gun from him way more would be dead, those rioters, looters etc were out to harm and hurt, they were anything but innocent, sad they are dead but they made their choices that night
In a friendlier world, actions like the one he made that day wouldn't have been possible. He committed an act of civil war. I'm thankful it didn't escalate.
@JohnK123 I’m not familiar about the story, but it’s time looters understand that looting may just end up getting you killed. I’m not sure why people don’t understand people destroying other peoples things isn’t a death wish.
As a white man it is part of my white privilege to dispense justice and aid my black allies in doing so. As a white man, if I feel cops are murdering black men and using the power of the badge to do so, I reserve the right to beat and kill people that weren’t there when people like Floyd or Blake were killed. I reserve the right to steal and commit arson to the businesses of people who literally had nothing to do with either event. If anyone should attempt to defend their lives, homes, and businesses and those of others I reserve the right to attack and harm or kill those people and not be held accountable and if anyone does label them a murder. I reserve the right to have the Democrat party bail me out so I can do it again immediately. As a white man Democrats will have police and national guard stand down and allow me to pillage and destroy at will. In Baltimore I got justice for Freddy Grey by stealing Nikes from some business that had nothing to do with either the police or Freddy Grey. In Ferguson I burned several black businesses to the ground to demonstrate racial injustice will not be allowed, even though they had no connection to the incidents that caused the riots I participated in and weren’t white. It will all be called peaceful protesting on the news anyway. When a 17 year old white boy helps defend a business from would be thieves and vandals and shoots 3 white people in the process, I call it white privilege. See what all my white privilege gets me? Oh wait. That’s black privilege I was referring to. Never mind.
