To answer the question, I have never kissed anyone else under the mistletoe. I don't think I've even seen mistletoe IRL lol. I've always wanted to tho. #kisskiss

I have kissed my wife under the mistletoe.
Once when putting up the Christmas decorations when I was a kid, my sister positioned me right at a certain spot, claiming she wanted to take my picture. She then kissed me on the cheek and said "Merry Christmas!" She rarely kissed me you see. I asked her what that was for and she pointed up to a sprig of mistletoe she had placed me under. I thought it was sweet of her.
When my sister brought her 1st boyfriend home to meet us just a few days before Christmas, she boobytrapped the entire house! You couldn't stand *anywhere* without finding yourself under the mistletoe. She then managed to ambush her boyfriend under every single one of them. I think she was about 15 at the time. My brother's girlfriend kissed me on the cheek under the mistletoe. It felt a little... strange. I was 14 at the time. She was always nice to me. My brother was a good sport about it.
Aww your sister sounds fun
I did and my wife got furious about it because it was another woman and I that kissed. Her husband was there too and was ready to fight me but I was merely explaining that it was out of respect for the mistletoe and they still didn’t understand it. I don’t know what’s wrong with people these days.
You kissed her on the lips? Lol because I would probably be annoyed by that too
Your questions are amazing as always! I believe you know who I am? 😬 I deleted my old account
I’m a hopeless romantic hahah, I would LOVE to kiss someone under the mistletoe. It’d be so romantic. Honestly, I have so many ideas of “romance” like a picnic under the stars, baking with my SO, going on long road trips, seeing the northern lights together etc. I've never had a boyfriend and I’m not allowed to until I’m done with college, and it’s fine by me! But I’d like to experience a great romance in life. You know? The roller coaster rush kind. I believe that marriage in itself is a great romantic affair which lasts forever. . . Well, not forever, but like until the couple is together lol. Divorce rates have been going up like crazy
There were a few Christmas seasons when my husband & I kissed under our mistletoe and immediately threw our glasses into the fireplace and followed those up by smashing plates on the floor. We learned this when we spent one Christmas in Greece where we decorated a boat (instead of a tree) with lights & ornaments before we were told to kiss under a mistletoe. There were no glass tossings or plate smashings there. We added that ourselves later on during Christmases at home.
By the way, my husband was still my boyfriend when we first did those things years ago.
We got married years later in '19. Last time we did the mistletoe thing and the other Greek stuff was last year.
Awww that's awesome. I love traditions

they would put up mistletoes around my high school and student would actually push each other under it and then just pretty much pressure people to kiss cause they “stood under the mistletoe together”
I personally have not, kissed anyone under it and I kinda find it cringy hahaha
Lol the joys of high school
I have kissed under the mistletoe. Back in the day of holiday parties, it was common for us youngsters to carry some around with us, 'just in case'. I've also been kissed under the mistletoe. Was dragged there by a woman twice my age with a very long tongue. Cleaned my tonsils. I was not happy.
Haven't seen a genuine sprig of that deadly poisonous parasite in a long while, though.
I never seen a real mistletoe either!! We did use a decorated fake mistletoe for our college event. A friend just hung it with fisher rod and walk around to let people kissing. I kissed couple guys at that night. It was fun but far from romantic 😂
Sounds like a blast
nopeee i never have🎄💋🎄💋 it’s on my Christmas bucket list!! but it’s been like centuries since i’ve seen either mistletoe or a man in rl 😤😤😭😭
I know the feeling girl lol
Yes! We buy mistletoe at our local nursery and hang it in the doorway. No one escapes a kiss! 😈
Love that!
nope... not really a part of Mexican Christmas, but there's kisses elsewhere
Sweet
"no kissing in front of baby Jesus" I remember that...
Lmao omg
lol...
Yes, every year that my husband and I have been together.
Great
Not yet. I hope to kiss my girlfriend under the mistletoe. We’ve kissed before but not under the mistletoe.
Awww
Mistletoe is pretty common here, its actually a parasitic plant and can infest trees. Its also very poisenous if you eat it.
Never got a kiss though, still haven't had my very first one
It'll happen.
Nope but I'd like to.
And I have seen mistletoe in real life before we hang em every year.
Well you're a country boy lol. y'all are different
I don't know. My husband and I have been together for a decade now and kissing under a mistletoe is 100% something he would do. And forgetting that it happened is 100% something I would do 😂
When I was younger I climbed way the hell up a tree to cut off a huge piece of mistletoe and had it hanging in my room for years. Yes, I certainly have :)
I tied one to my hat.
This doesn't seems to work...
Gotta go around the right crowddd
I've never been invited to a Christmas party, even the work ones.
Actually sorry that's a lie. I went to one because someone else dropped out. I was the second option.
Nope. Nothing cliché or movie-like has happened to me in my life.
I can relate
Yeah, my second girlfriend was a colleague during my restaurant days and the boss put the stuff everywhere so we kissed quite a few times because it was bad luck not to (him and his wife had the same situation so he at least wasn't hypocritical)
happy December for you too😊, and my answer is sadly, nope 😂
Thank you!
I always wondered: do mistletoes make it "not sexual assault"? XD
I mean I wouldn't just automatically kiss someone lol. I'd at least see if they wanted to be kissed first. Always get consent!
Well if you need consent first, then what's the purpose? XD
Lol you don't HAVE to. You're just supposed to!
I'm just joking anyway :D
I knowww
Yeah since was about 4 yr old.
We used to take it to school from about 7 and steal kisses.
from 11 it was a bit more.
We used to hang a fake plastic mistletoe in the doorway between the entrance foyer and the living room, for anyone to use as they pleased.
