Why do people often say I’m angel-like?

I’ve encountered that a lot. I guess I have quite a sweet/mellow ish personality and I’m quite “nice”. People have said I look and seem angelic, a lot of people have said that actually. I’ve had people come up to me and say “I look like an angel.” What does that even mean? I’m taking it as a compliment but what does it mean because angels just look/act like people don’t they?

I’ve called people that before, my bestfriend actually is something like u described. She’s such a lovely and caring person, and she’s absolutely stunning, got long blonde shiny hair and got an “innocent look” to her. And she smiles a lot. I think she looks like an angel and other people have told her that too. And people say she acts like one. She’s also a model. So it’s absolutely a compliment lol. It means ur nice AND pretty.
