I love animals I will do anything for an animal if it gets one Lick in that's all it's going to get I will talk to it like it's a little baby but that's all it's going to get is one lick that's it I love touch to death one lick that's it not listen tries to stick another one and they have done that before and got away with it but that's it no more LOL

my neighbours cat has a habit of waking me up by licking my nose.

Either it’s slept the night or doing an early morning visit and wakes me or anyone up for food.

it’s a toss up between a bum in the face or a tongued nose.

& I absolutely adore animals.
They can lick anywhere else EXCEPT above the neck.
My roommates dogs used to try to sneak eating their own poop.
I know exactly where their tongues have been so absolutely not.

For the most part I let my parents dogs lick my face. That is how they show affection and I am not going to push them away and discourage them from it, but I have a limit as well. If they are invading the space too much then I will tell them "okay, that's enough," and gently push them off.

These dogs in particular are velcro ones.

Yes. I think part of the reason is that I think I'm immune to diseases so if a cobra licks my face or rabid raccoon licks my face or a feral cat licks my face, I figure I'm okay. I've licked some vaginas that seemed more dangerous than all of those. I think fundamentally it's because I don't really give a shit about dying but I want to see nice things along the way while I live. And some feral cat licking my face with poop breath still seems nicer than it is bad.

When my dogs were puppies, yes. They're almost 10 years old now and they've licked and eaten a lot of the gross things over the years, so not so much anymore. 😂

Not at all, I can shower love to my pet by giving food and a good trip outside but sorry no licking at any cost,
They may carry deadly germs etc and other things like I have seen one incident where a pet dog was licking its genitals and suddenly when the owner came it licked and after that I could not eat because of the flashbacks I had of them.

My lizard, spaz, used to do that. When working at a pet store, a Machaw we were boarding used to lick me in the ear and enjoy a hug from me. Real affectionate big bird.

I’m picky about smells and cleanliness so I would say no, I would only want a dog that does not like or kiss. One reason I prefer cats to dogs.
