And I’m not talking green bobble heads we see in movies or cartoons. Like no joke do you believe in aliens and why?

bruth, think about the universe man. earth is literally less than a single piece of sand on the ocean beach compared to earth's place among the universe.

it's beyond any statistical probability model that us humans avoided extinction to get to this point where we are (of basically ruining our planet) but it would be weird to think that in the billions of years of existence us donald trump/joe biden loving idiots are the best that that managed to survive the complexities of universal life.

my personal opinion is of course there's other intelligent life out there and at the very best they would view us humans the way we view the ants working busy errrrday to build their little anthill houses.

I agree the universe is huge. It’ll be naive of us to think we’re the only life forms in existence.

Scientist tend to make claims that some planets uninhabitable to us. But that’s just it. To US. Who knows what’s able to survive the conditions of these other planets.

And as far as I’m conserned even if theirs a wormlike creature found on Jupiter or any other planet that ALIEN to me for the simple fact that it’s not of earth.

People automagically assume Aliens have to look like Alien vs predator or green guys with high intelligence which may or may not be true. But to completely disregard the idea of life outside of earth I mean you think these planets in the universe are there for decoration.

... and that's no disrespect to ants! those little buggers are overachievers. they cooperate and get their shiiiit done. but us brilliant humans have super important things to do and don't care about ants until they accidentally INVADE our space. then it's time to bust out the poison.

cool thing is we aren't smart/dumb enough to accidentally stumble upon other intelligent life. not yet. maybe later. that would be cool to know how that story plays out, if we and the next few generations don't wipe out our planet first. life is pretty cool stuff.

Yeah i agree. a topic like this is really a mind f*ck... yeah us humans are amazingly intelligent/evolved beings that defied all odds to make it this far, but we also have very little imagination to what might be going on in the rest of the universe outside our tiny speck of sand. (i know i keep bringing that up but i mean SERIOUSLY... go outside and pick up the tiniest rock you can find or a blade of grass... our special earth is waayyyy smaller than that compared to the overall universe it exists within.

our "big" brains just can't comprehend it. myself included. but for example, your point that we automatically think of intelligent life needing to breathe and drink smart water and avoid getting bad tan lines... it's all just a silly result of what our small minds are familiar with and have the ability to comprehend.

Not yet. I haven't seen one yet. It seems plausible to me that there is something that fits our definition of life somewhere out there beyond our planet. But I think that's different than believing something.

The chance of other intelligent life not existing in such an enormous space is harder to believe. If it happened here chances are it happened elsewhere.
