If you had a pet what would it be?

Hyena, Lion, Lioness, Tiger, and Tigeress.
I want each of them as cubs so I can raise them and watch them grow.
Even though, this would be considered unrealistic, since, in the US, it is illegal to keep big cats.
Why would I want to have them as pets? I'm a possessive person; I am possessive over my things and privacy. Not only that, having these cats as pets is a good way to scare unwanted people away. Besides, these cubs are so cute! - even if the Hyena looks vicious.

If I chose it'd be a dog. But I got two cats now, formerly stray. Stray dogs aren't common in my area. Stray cats are abundant. Both of them had serious medical conditions which is what prompted me and my wife to take them to the vet and then bring them in. I'm more of a dog person or maybe someone who just doesn't want pets in general. But I got two cats now this way. I get attached to feeding them and then when they are hurt very badly, I end up bringing them in.

I have had a lot of pets. Fancy rats of all types, different breeds of hamsters, dogs, cats, rabbit, chinchillas, fish, wild recovery and release lizards and birds, squirrels who came when called to get snacks.. who am I missing… I have a lifetime of furries ready to meet me on the other side when my time comes.

My preference for a pet is cats, one reason is that I life in a small apartment and if I had a dog I would want a larger one like a Lab or border collie. I just think this size apartment is to small for that size dog. I do have a cat, and yes, I am her servant, hahaha.

When I lived in a house, with a sizable garden, we had dogs. However, there were 3 "masters" and each "master" had a different idea on what the animals could or couldn't do. Now I'm in an apartment; I live alone and I don't think a pet would be a good idea.

I have birds. Budgies/ Parakeets to be exact. I really love birds 🥰 Funny cute hyper little poof balls. One is tame so he comes and sits on my phone or cuddles himself onto my shoulder. They are so cute to me its frustrating 😂
