Stimulus checks were given to everyone (the citizens only received 10% of it, the government pocketed the rest) and inflation skyrocketed. Now that some people are getting back to work, “the economy is booming!”. Now that the midterm elections are coming up, “we don’t need masks! Fund the police”. That’s the true hypocrisy and irony.
