I think one of the hardest things that a person can do for themselves is to have a nice tan it just makes you look fresh and Alive healthy.
I was younger I mean I used to live out of the lake as I got older I got a boat I got a motorhome and I used to live out at the lake on the weekends I absolutely love the Sun they used to have to protect yourself I didn't do that that well back then I do nowadays because I still like a good tan
no, UV rays can be harmful in large amounts.
Yes, tanning is visual proof that irreparable DNA damage took place. There is no such thing as a healthy or safe tan. It might not lead to skin cancer but it will lead to photoaging. I don’t advocate for extreme sun avoidance, but be vigilant and reapply your sunscreen when you’re outdoors. Sunless tanners and spray tans are much safer alternatives.
It depends on your location and your genes, some can tolerate sun better than others but most say that even if you have sun resistant genes, you should avoid too much sunlight because everyone had the potential for cancer, in the summers, I might spend 20 minutes in the sun for vitamin D but then I go back indoors.

"There is no such thing as a healthy suntan. "A tan is a response to DNA damage," says Dr. Barbara Gilchrest, a dermatologist at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Such damage is instrumental in the development of skin cancer, and it also accelerates skin aging."
It can be, depending what you do or don't do. It does dry it out, so not only sunscreen to avoid burning, but moisturize after. Plus the risk of skin cancer. I say the risks are greater than the "rewards", but many people still do it. Especially women.
I go out so often, especially in the summer that I don't need to. I get a tan without fail. Imma start wearing sunscreen to minimize the damage but honestly, I love being outside and feeling the warmth of the sun. So it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make
Yeah, because of all the sun rays and all, even tanning beds are supposed to be bad, due to the rays ans too much of either can cause skin cancer.
A bit of sun isn't a bad thing, but SPF is important.
If you do it too much it's really unhealthy, but sun is also really important, because you get vitamine D from it. So just don't do it for too long. You should also use sunscreen to protect your skin while sunbathing.
Well yeah. What about massive radioactive waves hitting the skin for hours in the open would make one think that's healthy.
Hell yeah. I live in Australia and I wear triple layers of sunscreen and don't purposely sun-bake. That's literally awful for your skin.
Of course it is, but that doesn't mean you don't receive the benefit of vitamin D. Plus, at least in the short run a tanned complexion may improve your attractiveness, and, if you work outside, being tanned helps prevent sunburns.
It can be if you do it for long periods of time and even more so without sun protection, basically that cream that ever tells you to rob on so you won't get sun burnt.
Yes, it is very damaging. It is the very definition of skin damage.
I dunno... I'm doing this from years didn't happen anything yet.
Yeah but I still love it tho
It can be if you get too much. Everything is about balance
Yeah, UV can cause skin cancer. Multiple people in my family had it due to long exposure to the sun.
I prefer a girl to be pale. No need to take sunbath and too much of anything is bad too
In general, yes.
For me, even more, I'm a ginger, the sun isn't my friend at all.
Some amount of sun is good for you, but excessive sunbathing will cause your skin to wilt much earlier during the aging process.
Like everything, too much exposure makes it harmful.
to much is, but if you do it in moderation it's alright i guess..
Yeah pretty much unless you don’t do it very much and use sunscreen
It ages your skin #facts

Even when you are inside the sun can harm you.
