Do you look at question answers through an unbiased lens?

I thought this might be an interesting question to ask. When you see someone’s answer to your question or another question, have you ever attempted to read it without looking at which gender has proposed an answer. The same could be said for ethnicity if that is reported or obvious as well.

For instance- should it matter from whom the question is asked :
Why do urban drivers (or any demographic group) seem to lack the skill of using turn signals?

I find it impossible not to read answers without the gender playing a role in how I process them, especially if it's in the sexuality category. If it's a political question not so much.

Fully agree here. It definitely matters in some categories from whom the question is posed. I think the important focus on those types of questions is to try and see their side of the story.

I should have slightly reworded the question, I think it’s important to see who the question is coming from, but to form a response that accepts/takes into account both sides of the story. It’s challenging to be non partisan in all issues.
