Do you get fooled easily?

The date says 1st of April - the day where everyone is pranking everyone.

I'm happy it's my day off - so I'm not going to be around anyone to be fooled because I can be naive asf and hate April fools.

I don't think I get fooled easily. One time I remember a girlfriend who tried to fool me by saying she was pregnant. So I proposed to her on the spot and told all my friends I'm a father-to-be and this is the mother of our child.

She ran away and cried and later broke up with me. Gotcha, bitch!

I've a former friend who did that. She fucked up big time, her ex REALLY wanted to be a dad - she kept the lie going for over a month. 😳 - Let's just say there's a reason she's a former friend.

I actually didn't realize it was an April Fool joke if I stop being silly. Tears rolled down my eyes and I rarely ever cry when she reminded me of the day and that she was joking after I was in a celebration and marrying mood. Her sister scolded her for the joke along with our friends and that's what caused her to run away and cry.

With the girls who do that kind of cruelest joke, what do you think they are testing? It's almost like I disappointed her that I wanted to marry her and thought of her as the mother of our future children on the spot, like she expected something different from me.
