Why are my neighbors watching me, what could be the reason? It's been like this for over a year?

I'm not paranoid, I live in the village and whenever I go out at night, smoke or go to a toilet, get air, I constantly feel the lights of 2-3 neighbors turning on and off and their curtains are drawn I know they are watching me I wonder why
