Why would the neighbor couple stalk me (always show up at most random places)?

I recently had an argument with one neighbor and he ended up apologizing to me. A few days later he and his girlfriend have started stalking me. Why could that be?

I randomly run into my neighbors when I go out because they have to drive further to get certain stored or sometimes I see the same doctor as them.

People run into each other all the time when you live in the same state. It just happens.
