A guy and his girlfriend live next door and the woman tries to rush out of the house when she sees my husband. If I'm getting home she rushes out of the car. She won't speak either. My hubby says it's really weird. Why won't she mind her business. She won't speak either just starting at me. My husband makes sure he waits until she's in her house because it so weird. What us her problem? She's not very attractive, so what is she proving to us? We are interracial couple also.

Some people are just fucking weird.

I had a neighbour when I was still in junior high - he was a middle aged officer worker kinda guy - who always had his home's curtains drawn shut and never spoke to anyone.

He'd get super anxious and dash away to/from the bus stop, even if he'd end up awkwardly waiting there for the same bus as everyone else.

Everyone just figured he's a bit weird, doing his thing to address and manage his paranoia or social anxiety, but ultimately harmless.

Just ignore her. Be aware, but no need to get paranoid.

If she's white and a stay at home person, maybe keep your phone handy to record any possible racist Karen shenanigans.

But otherwise, unless she tresspasses or otherwise threatens you, no need to escalate without reason.
