I've climbed a few. I even climbed Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain in the world! But that was long ago. Above ten thousand feet, obstructive sleep apnea starts acting like central sleep apnea, and central sleep apnea just straight-up starts trying to murder you. For a trip to Colorado a few years back, I had to practice a special breathing technique for a few days beforehand, and dealt with the creepy realization that if the power went out while I was asleep, I'd probably never wake up.

So I'll probably live out my days here in the flatlands. And I think that's okay; I've gained my glory from the heights, and maybe now I'll head downwards. Travel deep into the Earth and fight dinosaur-riding morlocks.

I love to go on mountain hikes to the peaks although I've never done any hardcore mountain climbing. The tallest I've climbed was Mt. Fuji but I didn't have to do extreme things like cliff climbing since there's a path to walk up to the top although quite steep and covered in volcanic rock.

I'd love to try a more extreme form of mountain climbing though, like Everest.

Mt Fuji is only 12,388ft/3776m and is considered a very easy climb by serious climbers. Maybe Everest would be too challenging for me and I'd likely die. I'd like to try something of medium difficulty.

I grew up in Shizuoka pretty close to Mt. Fuji so we'd climb it a lot. One time I got injured pretty badly though not on the way up, but down. I was stepping down and the volcanic rock slipped under my feet. Then to try to avoid falling, I put the other foot forward, but then it started sliding as well, and soon I was sprinting down the mountain like some Olympic runner unable to stop with the ground sliding under my feet and so I had to hurl myself down and then just rolled all over the place. :-D

Ended up tearing up all my clothes -- my jeans split in half -- and had a mild concussion. Like people were doing the thing asking me how many fingers they were holding and I saw what they were doing but it's like I don't understand what's happening.

Yeah I like hiking in hills or mountains but I prefer walking in a beach more. I'm not a very big fan of MASL but yeah it's enjoyable.

Honestly, when you stay in the mountains for only 1 night, honestly you will feel a different meaning of life from a beach full of naked people.

I walk in beach at night or very early morning when no one is there. It is just very calm with the sounds of sea waves and feeling of sand beneath you.

honestly from all the opinions here some look unconvincing but you seem to have climbed or even a hobby of climbing, by the way what mountains have you climbed?

Not done any mountains except for backpacking in the UK Lake District. More like hills and fells than mountains. Mostly with my brother. Done loads of walking over moorlands in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
