Every race has confidence but black people in general have to deal with racism, hate, and prejudices all throughout their lives which makes them stronger, self aware, and more capable.

These traits are the foundations and embodiments of high self esteem and confidence. We have to be strong and confident or we will continue to be oppressed. So in short, confidence, strength, equals safety and security in life in most cases.
