I'm option C. I know how to box and kickbox better than most people who haven't been trained, but I'm also overweight and don't have as much stamina as others.

Shame. I’m the only guy to pick D.
I’ve been doing martial arts since I was about 10. I used to compete in a lot of submission wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions, most i medaled in, some I won in my division. I’ve boxed and kickboxed enough to know a thing or two, and I’ve worked out and sparred with guys who are amateur mixed martial arts fighters. Some you may have watched on television. I didn’t get blown out of the water.
I could have competed in MMA, I mean I had those avenues open to me, but ultimately you’re getting punched in the face for a living, getting head trauma, and breaking your hands. Only the best of the best of the best are the ones making millions of dollars, and even some of them have had a few teeth punched out in the process. The vast majority of competitive fighters are not ballin’. They are getting by and wrecking their bodies. Then before you know it you’re on the wrong side of thirty with a few hard losses, and no one wants to see you fight anymore—if they ever did in the first place. Maybe if you’re lucky you can be a security guard or a high school wrestling coach. Woo-hoo.
Was trained in Kyuki Do when I was a kid and was taught combatives earlier in my military career. Not afraid to fight and have won most of the ones I got in with the exception of 4 (3 draw, 1 loss), I don't count training and sparring fights as actual fights, though namely because of imbalance on who was in the classes were either over your weight or you overpowered others. Only would have one or two guys you could fight fairly.
I don't do competitive, despite having thought about it and being told I would probably be a great fighter. Would rather not break my body down over years of fights would rather fight only when necessary at this point.

I’m pretty good from the shoulders. Certainly not professional-level, I have no training. I’ve thought of doing combat sports in the past but I don’t think I can control my rage enough in that kind of situation. Not to mention maybe just getting the shit kicked out of me by a trained professional😂 I feel pretty good about defending myself if it comes down to it, though.
Bad example, as this kid is considerably smaller than me (although it didn’t really develop in a way where that mattered too much, it was over in seconds and I was half-restrained), but I tuned up this mouthy goalie in my hockey league about a month ago, lmao. I was pretty pleased with my performance: one swipe to push his helmet off, one overhand club that dropped him to his knees, and then a clean right hand in tight when he stood back up to put him on his ass. 1-2-3, see ya later, thanks for playing😝 But I liked that I just went right to it, automatic. Put the kid down before my brain even caught up to the situation. Took that first punch and immediately started swinging back. Plenty of fight left in this old dog, haha.
Maybe C. I took boxing and later kickboxing for many years growing up, but I'm far from a pro. I also lack a killer instinct and am very weak when it comes to grappling. Never made me shy away from a fight though. I enjoy the challenge even if I lose.
If it's equal size and weight, I might have a fairly good physical advantage unless they're well-trained in which case I'm screwed. I'm the opposite of the type that skips leg days and can lift and throw people heavier than me quite easily and probably on account of explosive strength in the lower body. My upper body isn't that strong, relatively speaking.
Even when I was so skinny in the upper body in my early 20s and only 135lbs (now over 170lbs), I could bridal carry a 240lbs man from the train station to the park like so:
... at the shock of my friends including the one I was carrying. :-D Although it wasn't easy -- I was straining a lot -- but I have a lot more strength than most people estimate from my small stature mostly from my legs as a sprinter.
I might also be able to leverage that sort of surprise advantage since I look so much weaker than I am. The lower body power tends to add a whole lot of total body strength that I think most people grossly underestimate.
Option for me is "I don't know"
.. lol I can't know if I'm good at what I've never done.
If you watch fight science then you know that speak about the reasons untrained fighters sometimes win fights.
Let me steal the perfects words of answers that describe my situation.
"I won't just let someone kill me"
"I don't have killer instincts but I do have survival instincts (I'm not suicidal)"
I'm a good runner though hahah 😆 😜.. long legs. Haven't run in a looong time though... unfit but not out of shape.
The first good fighter never fought before fought... SIR
I once had a guy threaten to beat me up I told him, " maybe, but I don't fight fair. If I can't beat you I'll run you over with my car". He thought I was joking and I said cross the street in front of me you'll see if I'm joking. Luckily to date I've never had follow through with that. Lol
I'm the same way, actually.
I have Advanced ranks in Karate and San Soo, an Intermediate rank in Hapkido, and Elementary ranks in Danzan-ryū Jujutsu and BJJ. Besides this, I've never really been in a fight (I don't think those nerd fights back in Middle-School count). I'd like to believe I'm a fighter, but I'm not sure.
I voted C. I have a blue belt in TKD, black in Shotokan, and Amateur BJJ/Muay Thai at gyms. I've topped most kickboxing and karate tournaments but they were only local so I never really expanded.
I have always grown up with sports and martial arts but only competed at a national level in football and cif wrestling. Even then, I was not even ranked top 300 of high schoolers in either sport.
No martial arts but me and my sisters often beat each other and got blood running. :D I guess we're all after our dad.
I sprained my older sister's arm, she broke my finger, and my oldest sister lost teeth thanks to our fights.
I've taken quite a few self-defense and street fighting classes. I don't live in the safest place and want to be sure I can defend myself in case someone comes up and attempts to attack me.
I am well VERY versed in Krav Maga and can certainly hold my own in a fight. I just choose not to and I will always back away from one if possible.
That very was in the wrong place, but you get the drift.
If all things are equal I could hold my own if I had to.
I could probably do some damage to some loudmouth. I have not been in a physical fight with anyone in 30 years however. It is really not like you see on TV. These days there is usually a lawsuit involved afterwards.
Yeah I've done BJJ and muay thai, however it's better to avoid fighting for legal reasons unless someone is breaking into your house or harassing your girl.
Yes but from experience people don't fight anymore, I carry a gun now, just leveling out the playing field
I know what you mean
Not a pro butt i won my fades i don't fight anymore and i try my nest to avoid violent confrontations
I think so I have a pretty powerful high kick I could use on someone if they try to attack me from the front and a powerful back kick if someone is coming at me from behind
Not really. But I ain’t gonna stand and let someone just kill me
I could. Now that I haven't been able to keep up with it, due to COVID-19, I don't know
I don’t know anyone my own size besides kids lol. I suppose I could take them in a fight 💪
I believe I could handle myself but it would be better if I don't have to find out.
yes i practiced wing chun kung fu for 5 years
C + for me , overlapping the 2.
I dont need to
This is better to be kept secret
Yup.
