Today is Earth Day, are you doing your bit?

So my company has decided to shut down this afternoon, and is lending us all out to litter picks in our local area. There is a fair amount of countryside around here, and there are areas that get quite badly littered. Although I'm sure as far as the company is concerned it's just a PR exercise to keep good with the local community 😂

I do litter picks quite often in my area, I've even got ny own litter grabber, I'm just so rock and roll 🤣🤣

I have lots of plants in my home that I make sure to take care of everyday. I never throw tissues, wrappers or any garbage on the streets. I put them in the side chain of my purse until I see the cans on the street or reach my home, so I could throw it in the dustin. 🤣 I avoid using plastic bags. I teach kids not to throw stuff on the streets. That's all I do, to be honest. I'd like to do more someday. 😅

I'm going to TRY and remove this weekends group from their consoles, tablets & so on and make them pick up some litter around the little bathing place close by where I work.

I'm already prepared for it to be a small battle & if I just get 1-2 with me, I'll call it a sucess - no matter what, I'll be having a conversation with them about the importance of taking care of our planet and community. How much will go through - I don't know.

Damn. I was going to air my dirty laundry today too. Well, I didn’t get to ride my bikes yesterday, so I did my part early.

Recycle and reuse. I also throw my garbage away at home if I don't see a can. I hate littering it's so gross I hate seeing garbage everywhere
