Her case is what blew open the revelations about the Time's Up organization that is no longer around - they came out heavily for Amber but were also supporting far-left abusers like Harvey Weinstein and Cuomo against their female accusers with credible stories.
The defamation suit currently in court centers around Amber's op-ed, which it turns out was literally written for her by the ACLU, and the ACLU made her a DV Ambassador (with a large paycheck) for being allowed to use her name to promote their political agenda.
She's been a constant problem for the productions she's worked for, and Warner was going to recast her for AM2 because of those problems (as they made clear to her agent), but Amber used her powerful woke Hollywood friends to pressure WB, threatening to make a big political stink if they recast her, and they finally agreed to cast her less than 2 weeks before her contract expired. She was cast under the condition that she didn't involve WB in her court case - which, of course, she did anyway.
The only reason she didn't get away with her lies is because of recordings. Her own words and actions have exposed her endless lies, and lots of people have heard those words for themselves. She also manufactured evidence that police body cam footage - which she didn't know existed, contradicts.
She may still win the court case - defamation is very difficult to win for anyone - but she's been exposed for who she is, and most of her "friends" have now abandoned her because she made them look so bad.
Yes for sure people that seem to be innocent in some ways have it easier in life. I think that works here as well. Amber Heard looks the innocent and charming lady while Johnny Depp looks like a strong and confident guy so the judge has to decide who´s lying and he believes Amber because she looks more innocent and it´s commonly known that guys are more likely to be the abuser in a relationship.
