I tend to be more analytical so if I try to form assumptions about a situation or a person given little concrete data, I end up with near-endless possibilities of which I assign low confidence to the likelihood of each possibility being accurate. I reevaluate the probabilities as I gather more and more data, but I never reach 100% confidence about anything. 75% is already extremely high in my case and I have to have enormous amounts of data to even reach that level.
Of course, I have to navigate the world so sometimes I have to form assumptions quickly. For example, if I see a homeless-looking man on the street shouting at people and swinging baseball bats in the air, I generally go with the assumption that he's homeless and possibly dangerous. Yet I don't assign a very high probability to this assumption being accurate; he could be perfectly harmless and might only be dressing up as a homeless man or a person pulling pranks, for example. It's more a risk vs. reward assessment I have to quickly make and err on a particular side, not because I think it's a correct hypothesis but because it seems to be the lowest in risk and/or highest in reward.

Yes, very much so. My standards are high, and if you don't meet them then you'd better watch out, because I am unforgiving as well.
