Had a late night last night.
A neighbor had been trying to contact me from early on in the am, but I had my phone notifs off.
Which meant the doorbell too.
Had glanced at it around 10-11 to see the time and noticed all the commotion messages. I groaned at the universe and reached to let my dog out of her crate. She had to stretch three times, then blinked and squinted at me. She looked just as exhausted and more interested in sleeping too, but she then smiled and wagged her tail. Had to smile back, which made her tail wag faster. Nice boost to face the day.

I don't think I genuinely smiled today.
Although, I unpacked 8 boxes of shipment today at work and left 2 for a closing employee. She looked at me and said "2? that's kind of a lot..." Needless to say I laughed at her and that was pretty genuine.

The double takes, glances, looks I got etc.

Even without them the one that made me smile the most was the reflection in the mirror when I got home which said "You look great today."

To which I smiled and I thought "I know." Hehe 😊

Drinking Monster Energy for first time today in small ice cream cups with my cousins like taking pegs of beer lol. It's a really enjoyable evening today with my cousins. Movie, disco (at home with speaker and drinks and cheese balls), karoke, crackheadness, drunk without being drunk, staying up late with cousin sisters. Seriously best day this year. Total Teenage Day type.

I am from Montreal Quebec. Today was a funeral to one of the best Hockey players that ever lived ( he died from Lung Cancer). It was bitter sweet... but watching the funeral made me smile knowing he isn't suffering and that he got a state funeral ( which is meant for politicians)
