• Got yelled at by a customer for their card declining

• Trained an associate that clearly didn't want to be there.
• Had a 5 minute break because we're short staffed

I got out of bed at 0930 and made myself a cup of hot tea. I caught up on my emails and PM's until 1030, when I took a break for my morning shower. From 1040 to 1130 I telephoned my mother and sister and chatted. From 1130 to 1200 I ate my lunch: a club sandwich. from 1200 to 1300 I worked around the house; including vacuuming, which I hate. 1300 to 1500 was spent at the pool. The water was perfect. I returned home and took a shower, then answered several emails and contacts on WhatsApp. I prepared my dinner (pork chops) and then settled into my evening routine.

This is retirement.

I'd say my day went well, it was mostly ordinary administration plus a informal dinner with some friends and a political acquaintance. Did the mistake of drinking a bit too much, so now I can't sleep, but it's alright.

These dumb mofos are still trying to get my my check after 6 days I was supposed to be paid. And the other has been leaving information of what I need to go do get paid after two saturdays I worked.

I've put my foot down for both and one fired me but I don't regret it at this point. You don't pay me, I don't work.

That's the funny thing. I'm a cop. She called the cops in the first place. I, being the cops, went to her house as requested 😂😂😂 She just didn't like the solution to her problem.

She and her boyfriend broke up and she wanted him out. But he had established residency there (i. e. he gets his mail there, it's the address on his license, etc.) And legally I can't force him to leave. No crime occurred so he couldn't be arrested. I told her how to go through the eviction process but that I couldn't make him leave and... she was unhappy lol

It’s guard-jobs or security-jobs. Always laid back. at least in my experience most jobs of that sort that I’ve been through are like that. Others you’re walking minding your own business or driving minding your own business. There is tough security and guard jobs, but if I didn’t like those I left.
