So I like to just hang out in cemeteries for fun and I was just laying in one of the paths and talking to myself when I heard a vehicle so I got to the side and just sat there as someone got out of a truck and went to a tomb stone and I was just like ok they're visiting someone I guess but then they kicked it a bunch of times until it broke and then they hurried back to their truck and immediately drove off.

I mean, it sounds like they might not have been safe to approach. And you're not a groundskeeper, so it isn't your responsibility.

It sounds like this person really hated whoever was buried there.

At most what might've been nice to take a sneaky photo (if safe) of the guy and the license plate and email it to the cemetery so they can pursue him if needed.

Yes, you should because those stones aren't cheap. One good thing is that she only damaged one stone. She like either had a beef with that person OR found out something in death and that was the only way she could get revenge.

You could have gotten the truck's license plate and give it and the truck's description to the cemetery's office (if there is one) or to the police.

If you had your cellphone, you could have taken a picture of the people and their truck.

Sounds like somebody had a beef with a dead guy if it was broad daylight and he only knocked over one grave stone.
