There are several Titles that can never be claimed. They must be earned and bestowed upon them by other people. Champion, Hero, Mature, and Wise are excellent examples.
Wisdom comes from age and experience. The two have a tendency to come hand and hand. So at my age, I do not consider myself wise. Hopefully, when I am older, many will call me wise. I would hate to think in my advanced years I was still naive.
Since I have a college degree and several years of life experience under my belt, I consider myself smarter than wise.
I am amazed how that combination can lead to so much trouble.

For many years I thought I was dumb. I thought I had some kind of limitation probably because I used to do and study things I never identified myself with. But I've always been very passionate about learning more about life in general and different subjects. I've always been fascinated by smart people and how people are able to use their brains to solve certain things. Nowadays I consider myself a smart person. I read a lot and study a lot about different subjects. I'm very logic and assertive and I created a life for myself thanks to that. I'm self taught and that's why I consider myself a smart person.
I don't know exactly what what you mean here. Without books or other media, you can't become an intellectual. But if you mean you like things like reading, visiting museums, and learning about things, then I would say I'm an intellectual. I also like the arts, and the stories behind the painters. Love antiques because it tells you about the history of furniture and how much better it was made then, than what we have now. If that makes an intellectual person, then I am that.
I consider myself quick and ignorant. There are a lot of things I know about, but nothing I'd claim to be an authority on. It's simply because the more I learn, the more I realize how much broader the ocean, sky and universe of my ignorance is with tiny little islands of knowledge and comprehension.

Somewhere between a jack of all trades and a polymath.
I tested highest in my mid sized city for scientific aptitude during standardized tests in school, although my math skills are lackluster.
Wasn't able to attend university, due to socioeconomic factors, but I'm pretty well read. I work alongside lot's of uni graduates, so I suppose that I'm doing okay without it. It's annoying to constantly face the class discrimination that a lack of a degree resultes in though.
I suppose I'd say I'm smarter than the average, and have a very broad knowledge base, but I don't qualify as a genius or anything.
Sometimes I kind of wish I were dumb and happy.I have my moments. I act dumb sometimes, but when my judgment is not clouded by emotions, I will think practically and make a good decision that would benefit me and others around me.
Overall, I like learning and I’m curious. I can’t say I’m intellectual. What factors determine if someone is wise? Or intelligent?Yes and no. The smarter I get the more I realize how much I don't actually know. However, I actively try to grow and better myself intellectually. So I'd like to say I do feel wise for the most part.
I'd like to believe that I qualify as someone whose enlightened as well as knowledgeable, encompassing a wide spectrum of topics. But, the truth is more humbling. I'm knowledgeable in certain areas of science, religion, philosophy. That's about it.
Intelligent, but only wise sometimes. Have my moments of wisdom and moments of poor choice even if I went about it in a smart way. Wisdom is really just knowing what's most important.
Easy to lose sight of that at timesEnough to stick it to brainlets. Enough to have survived this long. But somehow, I still feel like I've done little beyond the bare minimum of what someone should be. There is still room aplenty for more development.
Yes, that is why my username is Sage (a wise, knowledgeable person).
I guess so I'm smart. People here doubt I'm a 13 yr old sometimes.
I am not really book smart but I think I have common sense. I am good at identifying things that will not work.
Nope. I have an existential crisis around every week or 2
i try to make smart choices and i do pray for wisdom when i need to make important decisions. the other way is i don't pretend to be smarter that other people
I mean I don't use the internet for porn and I dont use it just for social media so I'd say yes. So I am guessing that puts me up at top of most of the populaton.
No. I'm an eloquent savage. Maybe in English I have language competency of a 5 yo. boy but in my native languages I'm very convincing.
I have a good understanding of how society functions and I do tend to see things through a pretty logical view.
So I would like to think so. I do consider myself knowledgeableI don't consider myself smart people that know me do and my I. Q. is around 140 and don't go to college I hated school very boring
I'd consider myself highly intuitive and foolish. Most of my problems are of my own making, but I tend to catch things that everyone else doesn't.
Yes I think so. Emotional and spiritual intelligence just now catching up to my common sense and critical thinking
yes i have wisdom because i understand human nature and can apply it to what people will do
