Unless I was Albert Einstein or Stephan Hawking, I couldn’t possibly say I’m “really smart”. I got a lot to learn.

Not at all! I failed HS math as an Asian. So embarrassed, when all my Asian friends were taking AP math. I just went for a regular HS diploma instead of a Regents diploma like everyone else. My college GPA was pretty low. 😂
looking back I am glad I didn’t put so much hard work into “schooling”.
my success is build through life experiences and am doing much better than say if I was smart in school.
I made good life choices… 😊

The thing is, you're always in your own brain so whatever you are feels like like normal. Everyone else just seems retarded unless they are within like one standard deviation of your IQ. Then they seem relatively normal as well, but may be knowledge in other areas. So even if you are a statistical outlier it's not like you walk around like wow I'm so smart. It's more like you just talk and people tend to tell you, I don't know what any of that is... Then you have to rephrase yourself and simplify concepts to communicate effectively.
