Why are some moderators power hungry and others are chill?

What are your thoughts on it? Do you think those who have power can use it any way they please? Or do you think if one gets it there should be reasonable responsibility that comes with it? This applies to any website with moderation, not just this one..

I don't care about moderators. To me they're like the good kids in class who always had their hands up, kissing up to the teachers. They would tell on me for everything I did while the teacher was out of the classroom.
I'm usually more concerned about why the administrators of this website seem to allow racist and race baiting questions here.

I agree, I have a lot of respect for those who work hard and try their best. I'm not really trying to fault anyone, I think it's important to strive to be the best person you can be regardless of status. 🙂

Some are power hungry but most seem to be pretty chill if you are a decent regular. I haven't had an issue in the like what almost 7 years I've been here.

I've been on other websites where I would open an account and get banned that used to happen on Blurtit there were tyrants running that website at one time and some sites think that cause their Moderator they have power but on here I'm good.

Thai site is more bias for women in terms of sexual expression and some moderators talk the talk , but don't walk the walk only rules apply to members and not the moderators
