we built a new house in the village a few years ago, and are now on city sewer, not a septic system, so now we have a nice one.
I spent a few more bucks and got a really quiet one, and had a push button switch installed on the top of the counter top so we don't hsve to open the door for the switch.
I saw my brother having it. I still dont consider to install it.
Because I had even lived in two floor in an old apartment in China.
It was spraying from each tubes include from toilet when the kitchen waste collapsed.
Yes I do. I love having a garbage disposal. It’s very convenient.
We feed scapes to local chickens and feral cats and stray dogs.
Local chicken?
You mean birds or people keep hens and roosters where you live? Its interesting

Nope. We're renovating our kitchen soon though and will be installing one.
I have a waste bin, and a composter bin.
There is no reason to burden my local waste water recycling system with additional strain.
nope... that's a lethal trap
and that is NO place for garbage, lol
in the main house i do, but not in the annex
No what is that? (I'm from the UK) lol
It's a device that will grind up food (you shouldn't put bones in it, despite people thinking otherwise) so that it can go down the drain. You can scrape off most food from your plates (again, no bones) into the disposal drain, run the water, hit the switch, and the disposal will grind up the food and it will go into the sewage system. They are very common in the US, and almost no where else in the world.
Well, they aren't dangerous unless they are running, and most switches that turn them on are well out of the reach of small children (for this reason!). Typically the motor is only running for 30-60 seconds. But, yes, if you stuck your hand in one while it was running, it would be very, very bad.
In the old house I was in, yeah.
We never have and never will
Yes, and I use it a lot.
The best question ever
