Where I live, they're uncommon. What's it like to use them? Are they for both women and men?

Unfortunately we don't but I love a bidet. Another better than a washed ass after a poo. When we eventually get our bathroom remodelled we are getting one of those japanese smart toilet with the built in bidet

No, but my uncle had one so my father got one installed when he had a second bathroom built. I used it a couple of times.
